ETL Systems has released the switching matrices of the new, fourth, generation of its popular Enigma family. This product family includes radio frequency switching matrices. They are intended for switching and broadcasting L-band signals in satellite communications equipment and in other systems.
The new product group contains six matrix switches. Moreover, three switches are designed for receiving equipment and three for transmitting equipment. Matrices are made with the number of inputs and outputs up to a value of 32 x 32.
Fourth generation matrix switches are characterized by improved performance: increased linearity, lower noise figure, higher isolation. These matrix switches also contain an advanced touch-screen control panel with enhanced monitoring options that increase staff efficiency.
The reduction in power consumption in new devices is due to the fact that the unused components and circuits are not powered.
The total operating frequency of the new matrix from 500 to 3150 MHz.
Matrix switches can be upgraded (expanded) to more inputs and outputs.
